I didn't have a chance to create something new this weekend. Here is a illo I did way back in 96 for a client in Florida. It is colored pencil over watercolor. I haven't picked up a colored pencil in years.

Here is a painting based on a photo I took at last year's county fair. These horses were really really fast. Here is a painting of them in their warm-up.

A picture of spring. So glad it's here.

A watercolor painting of feet. Almost didn't make the deadline this week.

This is a tough time of year to paint an insect- I have no live models. This summer will be a much different story. Can't wait.

"Tea"- what a fun topic. Anything with caffeine is close to my heart.

I have to admit that this is a recycled piece from last year. I attempted a new piece several times over the weekend, but it flopped. I am going to try it again in a few weeks with a fresh eye. If I can get it together, I will post it. In the meantime, here is my contribution to this week's topic.
